HIGHFIELD RFC SPRING & SUMMER TAG RUGBY

An electric atmosphere awaits in Highfield RFC, which is one of Irelands largest tag rugby venues. Located directly behind Cork University Hospital, with ample parking, Highfield RFC is a hub of activity between April and August. Each night up to 40 teams descend on the venue to play social tag rugby and meet with friends.

Highfield RFC is an iconic venue with games played across three full-size pitches. Each pitch is within walking distance from the clubhouse. The spacious clubhouse with indoor and outdoor seating allows teams to socialize pre and post matches, giving Highfield a relaxed vibe and an ideal venue for social tag rugby. Weather permitting, BBQ and clubhouse games are organized to add to the atmosphere.

Leagues in Highfield RFC offer an unparalleled experience to taggers looking to play social tag rugby in a fun and relaxed environment both on & off the pitch. For the most part, tag rugby is a social sport, facilitating individuals throughout Cork to come together and develop long-lasting friendships.

Tag rugby is a perfect sport for anyone looking to learn a new skill irrespective of fitness level. Our focus is on fun, fitness, and friendships amongst all teams by providing an environment where tag rugby can be played in a social and safe environment for all to enjoy.

The Leagues in Highfield RFC run every Tuesday & Thursday evening throughout April, June, July and August. Our Spring League is a 6-week league beginning in early April. The summer leagues commence mid-May and are played out over 9 weeks. To finish off a fantastic summer in Highfield RFC, we end with a late summer league to close out the season. Each league has limited capacity and is extremely popular, so our advice is to sign up as soon as dates are announced.
